If there's one thing I've learned on my travels, it's that the best moments are the ones that hit you like a freight train. Stepping off the metro into Delhi’s Paharganj neighborhood was one of those moments. Despite years of researching what traveling to India would entail, I still found myself utterly unprepared for the reality of being there. The streets are an explosion of colors, sounds, and general chaos, with ancient history crashing headlong into modern life at every turn. The city is a sensory overload in the truest sense and an absolute paradise for photographers. This was the perfect introduction to my three weeks in India, and I dove in headfirst to explore the bustling streets of Paharganj and Chandni Chowk during my two days in town.
